[blockquote]Sony has announced that the PlayStation Vita has now reached over 1.2 million units sold worldwide as of February 26.
Sales include consoles already sold in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea. Sales from the console in territories such as North and Latin America, Europe, other PAL territories and Singapore are also counted.
In addition, Sony has also revealed that software sales across the globe have surpassed 2.0 million units at both retail and on PlayStation Network.

To sustain momentum, we’re working closely with 3rd party developers and publishers to ensure the best games and franchises possible will be available on PS Vita, and our software line up for the remainder of 2012 will have something for everyone across the globe.”
