Lately, games of various genres are being created, and are loved in countries even outside of Japan as a new Japanese culture following animations and manga comics, fueling active international interactions.
Yet in Japan, games still tend to be seen as a mere subculture, and are thought to take some time for them to move up to the level of culture. However, we firmly believe that the time has come. Through bringing manufacturers and users closer, we can heighten the power that the gaming community has, thus advancing it's level as true entertainment. We will actively engage ourselves in bringing out the potential and fun that games have.
